Overview of BC north coast nearshore ecosystems for the Royal Society of Canada expert panel reviewing the BC Offshore Oil and Gas Moratorium

In 2003 I was asked by RSC member Dr. Richard Addison to give a talk on BC north coast nearshore ecosystems to inform the Panel on their structure and function. Habitats included were estuaries, hard substrates, sand beach, rocky shore etc. While some of the information is outdated now the presentation does cover some of the classical and key papers from the region. Converted from a ppt.
